Threaded in Hope
Clothing can be more than just clothing.
It can help a child feel confident, comfortable, and cared for during a season of change. Threaded in Hope is a clothing closet operated by volunteers through Foster SQUAD, providing quality clothing to children impacted by foster/kinship care.
Our goal is simple: make sure kids have clothes they feel good wearing—and remind them that they matter.
Need Clothing?
Threaded in Hope provides clothing to children and families impacted by foster/kinship care who need a little extra help.
For children: Families can request clothing through our eQuip Hub website. Simply create an account, submit a request for the size and gender needed, and we’ll prepare a bag of clothing with a variety of items in that size.
We know kids don’t always arrive with a suitcase—or with clothes that fit. Threaded in Hope helps make sure they have clean, quality clothing ready when they need it.
For teens: We’re working on something a little different. Our goal is to give teens the opportunity to come in and choose their own clothing, because having a say in what you wear matters. This option is coming soon but in the meantime, please submit requests through eQuip Hub and we will be in touch to figure out the right type of clothing!

Have clothes your kids have outgrown? Cleaning out a closet? We’d love to put those clothes to good use!
We accept clothing in all sizes—from baby to adult (appropriate for teens). We’re looking for clean, gently used clothing that you’d feel good handing to a child or teen in your own family.
A good rule of thumb: If you’d donate it to a friend, we’d love to have it. If it’s stained, torn, stretched out, heavily worn, or something you’d be embarrassed to give away…please don’t make us be the bad guy and throw it away.
Every piece of clothing donated helps make sure a child has something that fits, feels good, and gives them one less thing to worry about.
