About the event
Practical Parenting Strategies for Parenting Children with Trauma will teach foster parents and caregivers parenting solutions to support development and healing. Participants will learn the impact of trauma on the brain and how that impacts behavior. This training will also include discussion on common behaviors and trauma reactions as well as strategies to decrease these behaviors. Resources for caregivers will also be shared. This class is approved for 1.5 hours of foster care licensing credit.
