About the event
Join the occupational therapy team from Rise Pediatric Therapy for an engaging session focused on understanding and supporting the sensory needs of children in your care. Many behaviors that feel confusing or challenging are actually connected to how a child’s sensory system is processing the world—and this training helps make those connections clearer.
Caregivers will learn how sensory processing affects things like movement, attention, emotions, sleep, and transitions, along with simple, practical strategies you can use at home to help kids feel more regulated and successful throughout their day. You’ll also learn how to recognize when a child may benefit from additional occupational therapy support and how to partner with professionals along the way.
This session is perfect for foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers looking for hands-on tools to support calmer bodies, stronger regulation skills, and more confident kids
